Become a Friend of Faou

Coined by artist Mariko Mori, “faou” means “creative force.” This has been a driving factor for our work across the globe, sharing an “Ethos of Oneness” through passionate art projects that shine a light on local communities and their environments. This sense of “oneness” stems from the Buddhist concept of the world, where every living being is brought together as one single interconnected organism, wherein each individual is part of the greater whole. As we set our sights upon uniting the diverse communities of the Earth through creative art, now is the time to join our mission and change the world.

As a non-profit organization, Faou Foundation relies on a variety of funding sources. In order to sustain its activities around the globe, the foundation maintains a group of donors—both individuals and organizations—that together form the Friends of Faou. The generosity, enthusiasm, and loyalty of these donors is in many respects what keeps Faou going, and we forever remain indebted to the existing and growing members who comprise Friends of Faou.

There are many ways people can become a Friend of Faou, and in doing so, help increase the public’s awareness of our planet’s natural treasures and promote Earth-consciousness. To become a Friend by donating your time or services, please contact us via email for more information.

To become a Friend by making a tax-deductible donation to Faou Foundation, please send funds via Venmo, PayPal or contact us for other methods of giving.

Donate to a global cause that brings Mariko Mori’s art into unique remote locations to support local communities and protect their pristine natural environments for future generations.
